All owners start by attending the Foundation class so they
have some understanding of how to 'read' and train their dog. It is open to
anyone. This is followed by a Level 1 class starting the following week; the Puppy
class (for pups up to 20 weeks of age) or the Family Dog class (for older pups or
adult dogs).
Please book both the Foundation class and the appropriate Level
1 class at the same time. Bookings for Level 1 cannot normally be accepted without a
booking for the Foundation class that precedes it. Anyone completing a Level one class is encouraged to move
onto a Level 2 class.
for details of the ringcraft
class.

The Foundation class
is a one off session, for dog and puppy owners who wish to
attend a Level 1 class. You need to book it at the same time as you book your
Level one class. You come without your dog, allowing you to concentrate and
learn without worrying about what your dog is getting up to! If leaving your dog at home is a problem,
please contact me for advice. Handouts
are included.
Tea/coffee included.
- How your dog or puppy learns
- Understanding your dog or puppy and why he
does what he does
- How to train your dog or puppy, including the
basics of clicker training

A new class specifically
for dogs that
find working in a group class difficult and perhaps show aggression, or barking,
towards other dogs, but where training is still needed.
Much
of the work will be carried out individually while the other dogs stay in their
cars giving the advantages of one to one training
at a more affordable rate, but with the ability to gradually introduce other
dogs as and when your dog is ready to
cope with them.
Numbers strictly limited. A waiting
list is in operation. A one to one training
session, or assessment, is likely to
be necessary first.
