Teamwork Training
4 Shannon Avenue

Cheques payable to Teamwork Training please.
Confirmation of your place will be sent by post or email.

All venues have plenty of off road parking. All are in residential areas so please do not bring dogs that will bark a lot when left in the car and disturb the neighbours. Please note that most courses will demand that dogs are left in cars for parts of the day.

Places will  only be considered booked on receipt of the course fee. Directions and a receipt will be sent when that is received. Refunds will not normally be made within 2 weeks of an event unless the place can be filled.

Certificates of attendance can be supplied. Please ask at the time of booking.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in all courses (except the Clicker Fun Day). Lincolnshire events: lunch, prepared to order from fresh local produce by Mrs B’s Country Kitchen, is available, plus exceptionally yummy home made cakes!

Troubleshooting for the show ring

Training days to help ringcraft trainers and owners tackle showring training and behaviour problems such as backing off judges, pulling on the lead, lack of confidence or 'pizzazz'. A lot of owners resort to herbal remedies, homeopathy and even drugs...when often what is most needed is an understanding of how the dog learns and is motivated, and how the handler can help them get over their issues related to the showing environment. For some comments by previous attendees, take a look here.

Handler places limited, so book your place early. Ideal for

  • exhibitors
  • ringcraft trainers
  • judges

ie anyone who handles, teaches and interracts with dogs that are shown in the breed ring.

Dogs behaving badly

Dogs and people

This is a new event looking specifically at dogs that show aggression towards people. It is aimed at dog owners and anyone who works with dogs who want a better understanding of the practicalities of dealing with  aggression towards people; how to prevent it happening and how to reduce it if it does.

Limited places for handlers with dogs, by prior arrangement only. If you have a dog that you feel may benefit from the day, please contact Paddy to discuss it.

Clicker training

A day which aims to explain, demonstrate and bring together the strands of clicker training that people are trying out, but often with mixed results! If you don't really 'get' it, don't understand what the hype is all about, or just want a different take on it, this is the day for you. Bring a dog (limited places), or just come to watch and learn about how to make the most of it and where it might not always be suitable to use .

As one of the first people to use clicker training in this country, Paddy has had more than 15 years hands on experience of using it in the show ring (a clicker trained champion), competitive obedience (clicker trained dog working C only), pet training, classes and behaviour problems.
