Troubleshooting for the show ring
Training days to help you tackle your
showring training and behaviour problems such as backing off judges, pulling on
the lead, lack of confidence or 'pizzazz'. A lot of owners resort to herbal
remedies, homeopathy and even drugs...when often what is most needed is an
understanding of how the dog learns and how the handler can help them get over
their issues related to the showing environment. For some comments by previous
attendees, take a look here.
Handler places limited, so book your place
early. Ideal for
ie anyone who handles, teaches and
interracts with dogs that are shown in the breed ring. |

Days looking
at canine aggression
A
day for dog owners and trainers who
want a better understanding of the practicalities
of dealing with canine aggression and
how to both handle and prevent it happening.
Traditionally the approach has been
to correct a dog for showing aggression,
but increasingly a more positive, kind
and calm approach is used to to reduce
it and improve the dog's quality
of life. The day will look at both dog
to dog aggression and dog to people
aggression. Suitable for owners of aggressive
dogs as well as people who work with
them.
Limited
places for handlers with dogs, by prior
arrangement only. If you have a dog
that you feel may benefit from the day,
please contact Paddy to discuss it.
