The
Teamwork Training puppy classes have been running successfully
for a number of years. Normally limited to a maximum of 8 puppies,
the emphasis is on starting off the basic training skills
you and your pup will need, with some carefully managed socialisation. Pups must be no older than 18/20 weeks at the start
of the course. Exceptions may be made with an older pup
if it is not very confident with other older pups or adult dogs. The
Kennel Club Puppy assessment scheme is followed
and succesful participants will receive a certificate
and rosette on completion of all the tasks.
The Puppy class is NOT
suitable for adolescent pups, or adult dogs.

|
 |
How
to help your pup to interact safely and sociably with other
people, pups and adult dogs

Informal, effective learning
in a positive, rewarding atmosphere. Handouts are supplied. All
the family is welcome to come so you can all learn how to handle,
understand and teach your pup.
This is a reward-based
class. Food and toy rewards are used and the principles of clicker
training introduced. Specialist training needs (eg the breed show
ring, agility, competitive obedience) can be catered for and exercises
can be adapted to suit your needs.
