Dogs Behaving Badly

Presented by Paddy Driscoll

Aggressive behaviour is a major problem for many dog owners and the Dogs Behaving Badly days are aimed at helping owners and dog trainers gain some insight into how and why a dog becomes aggressive, and how, using positive techniques, anti-social and aggressive behaviour may be reduced. This day aims to make the theory relevent for the 'real world', working with genuine problem dogs.

Training Skills Workshops 2012

Led by Paddy Driscoll

The popular annual Summer workshop aimed at dog trainers (in all disciplines) who want to run effective classes, and owners who want to understand their canine companions better who also may aspire to teach. Also suitable for students who are planning on taking up dog training or behaviour work as a career. Paddy is a member of the APDT UK so the workshops will reflect positive attitudes towards dogs and training methods.

Topics to be covered in 2012...

  • Affordable options for classes in financially 'challenging' times
  • Competitive and sports training options for pet dog owners...and an insight into why enthusiasts are enthusiasts!
  • Purely positive. A look at the practicalities, advantages of, and challenges in sticking to "kind, fair and effective" methods with pet dogs in the 'real world'.
